WHAT'S ON MY FACE FRIDAY #1 || NAKED 3 MAKEUP LOOK

Image
Hey, I have been using my Naked 3 palette loads lately so I thought I would share a look here on my little blog. I do have some looks on my YouTube channel. Pop over should you wish!! By the way this was last Friday's look, sorry. I aim to do a WOMF ever Friday to liven up my blog and to use the palettes I have. I have too many. I am a true palette girl. What do you all prefer?       Above are all the products I used. Some are golden oldies but some are relatively new. If you check the sidebar there are reviews on my blog. I have been tossing between Bourjois Healthy Mix and Happy Light. Both are extremely good. The Healthy Mix is better for lasting all day and covering my redness. I don't tend to use my Sleek Luminous Powder often but sometimes it's nice dusted over the skin. The highlighting concealer from Catrice is gorgeous on my high cheekbones. I used my MUA highlighter and my Sleek Rose Gold blush for the perfect glowy effect. I have

Catrice Eyebrow Filler

Hello, So, we all have a routine with our eyebrows. Some may do them to great detail daily and then there are people, like me, who want it done as quick as possible. I have been eyeing up a Sigma eyebrow kit but will wait until I see more reviews for it first. The wand for this product is large, kind of like mascara large. That is the only drawback. The wand bristles are small so it is perfect for your brow area. I love how it applies the product evenly but it doesn't leave clunks of product. It looks so natural and stays put all day. As you can see the brown is a taupe brown. It's not too cool either. It can easily be used on dark eyebrows as my eyebrows are jet black and it works a treat. I would highly recommend this product. I buy Catrice in a pharmacy in Ireland but it is sometimes on Amazon or eBay. Have a wonderful day, V xox

Collection Does It All 5in1 Mascara

Image
Hey. Well the other week I saw Shaaanxo instagram a picture of her lashes using a Collection mascara. I thought wow that's pretty impressive for a product under £5. This mascara claims to curl, volumise, lengthen, condition and that it's long wearing. I can tell you now this is all true. I have been testing this for about a month now and it is seriously impressive.  I am terribly fussy with mascaras. I don't tend to like the massive wands with tonnes of bristles sticking every which way. It was very surprising to me that I love this mascara. The wand is very comparable to Maybelline 'The Rocket' and Benefit 'They're Real'. When I tried Maybelline's 'The Rocket' I was constantly poking myself in the eye or mascara would go all over my eye lid. I didn't find that it did a whole lot for my eyelashes. This beauty is £4.99 in Boots or Super Drug and sometimes they have it on offer for £4. I genuinely love this

GURU GOSSIP, BLOGGER PROBLEMS.

I was recently talking with two of my blogging friends about the blogging world. I won't name their names as it is none of anyones business, to be honest. I have been blogging less than a year but I have been reading blogs for in around two years now. WHY IS EVERYONE SO GOD DARN UP THEIR OWN ASS? Blogging is about being in a community that shares a common ground to talk about makeup, skincare and all things pretty. I feel like the community is on its knees and we have succumbed to letting a petty website called GURU GOSSIP rule the roast. It pains me to read BIG BLOGGERS and their two cents on the website. Oh my because you have over 1,000 followers, you are God? Get real. Whilst I think the website is ridiculous, I do think it's funny but on the other hand I believe that 90% of that website is LIES! It is a handful of people with nothing better to do and they clearly miss Gossip Girl. I recently advertised on a BIG BLOGGERS blog and for £12.50 I got my button on her

Maybelline Gel Eye Liner Pen

Image
Hello hello, Well today I have a rather nice post. I have been doing my best to get into gel liner and doing the whole cat eye/wing effect but it's taking time, let's just say. My sister Emer is really into eye liner and wears it most days. Emer wouldn't always use gel liner either. I saw this product in her makeup bag mid week when she was visiting Ireland and had to give it a go. Emer ended up giving it to me as I love it. It is so difficult to photograph this product BUT it is extremely similiar to the Benefit Push Up Liner, that has yet to be released. In the last picture you can see the gel comes out at an angle. It is a flexible plastic tip. What I like is the wind up/down lid, it makes it less messy and the product won't get damaged should you travel. The tip is slim and whilst it's flexible, it's not unsteady. It is a black liner but tends to need a few swipes to be very black. It is also waterproof and I mean it is not going

Benefit 'Stay Don't Stray' Review

Image
Good Afternoon, Well it has been a minute since I done a review here. I will explain in a post next week where I have been and all that. So, I have always been a huge fan of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. It is my absolute favourite eyelid primer. Nothing compares to it BUT I needed to try some more high end primers as my curiosity was getting the better of me. I saw some mixed reviews for this Benefit product, like seriously mixed reviews. Sometimes that is the selling point on a product, you have to find out what it's like then. They have two shade varieties, light/medium and medium/deep. What Benefit say about this product 'This dual-action power primer works 360 degrees around the eyes to make concealers AND eyeshadows STAY PUT. Concealers don't crease, eyeshadows stay vibrant & true. Contains sodium hyaluronate known to hydrate and Vitamins C & E known to help fight signs of aging.' When I first wore this product my expectat
