NARS Virtual Domination Cheek Palette


So I splurged but it was my birthday so who cares right?!


I missed out on the Guy Bourdin palette last year and really wanted it. I have two NARS blushes already, Amour and Desire. Gorgeous shades. 




The casing itself is gorgeous. Not too bulky either. I thought it would be more of a 3D effect on the actual hard casing itself but it's not, which isn't a bad thing either. There's a rather generous mirror too which is great if you're travelling. 


So, what do you get in this beautiful palette? A generous size of Laguna bronzer, which I have never ever tried. On the top left corner you get Miss Liberty which is a highlighting blush, I love the warm white look of this blush. Next to that we have Deep Throat which is a hugely popular blush, a stunning deep peach/pink shade. Cannot wait to try this one. 

Bottom left we have a limited edition blush in Sex Fantasy which is a light, cool toned pink/lilac shade. I don't know how this will fair on my skin tone but I can mix and match. Finally, we have Final Cut which is a deep peach shade. To me this is slightly similiar to Illamasqua's Lover blush, it might be a tad darker. 

Left to right; Laguna, Final Cut, Sex Fantasy, Deep Throat and Miss Liberty. 

I am in love with this palette. They feel so soft and buttery to touch. My experience with NARS blushes so far is that they blend so well and last a good 8/9 hours on the cheeks.

 It is costly at £45 and as far as I know, stock is selling quick from Space NK. 

Go buy it, you will not regret it.

Hey. Well the other week I saw Shaaanxo instagram a picture of her lashes using a Collection mascara. I thought wow that's pretty impressive for a product under £5. This mascara claims to curl, volumise, lengthen, condition and that it's long wearing. I can tell you now this is all true. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms | JanBlog #20

Hey guys, Well I ran out this morning to grab the new Revlon Colorburst Balms as I have seen them on every American YouTube video and blog so I needed one at least, or them all. Now they had the 'Just Bitten Kissable', 'Lacquer Balms' and 'Matte Balm' in stock, for now. They seemed to be going fast. I really didn't like any of the others and my hand was full of swatches. Sometimes I just get very focused on particular shades, like today. I have this bad habit of going for bright pinks and deep reds lately and everything I buy lip wise lately is cool toned haha. Wet N Wild Mega Liner

Hey loves, As you may have guessed, Wet N Wild is available to buy in Ireland now. One of our supermarkets here called Dunnes Stores carries it. They booted Essence out and got Wet N Wild in. For those who are new to liquid liner or just prefer gel, try this if you can. As you can the brush is short but it isn't as pointed as some others I have seen. My issue with liquid liner is getting a grip with the brush so it's firm but still moves. I don't think for me, as a beginner, a long brush or handle is ideal. I love this product. The handle and brush make it so easy for you to have a good grip. The colour range isn't the largest but I chose turquoise for the Spring. I found two coats of this on the lid made it pop and look very different. This liner is so easy to use, I even managed to get a wing. That is a huge deal, for me anyway.
