MAC BRAVE LIPSTICK


I think I have a slight obsession with pink nude lipsticks. Uh oh. 


For Christmas I received MAC's Brave from James' family. It has been on my list for some time. 


MAC describe this as a pink beige nude with white pearl. I don't see the pearl part but it is a pink nude. Does the satin finish mean it's pearl? No way.

It is a gorgeous colour. What I love about satin finishes is how comfortable they are. The pigmentation is also very good and they last hours. They almost stain the lips which isn't a bad thing. 

I think this is my third satin MAC lipstick. Soon,they'll overtake my matte ones.. or not. I will definitely wear Brave a lot. It is a very your-lips-but-better shade and oh so natural. OH I LOVE IT!!

Have you tried this shade? I love to team it with Natural Collection lip liner in Cinnamon or Ruby Rose.

Hey loves, Hope you are all well? Today I have a lipstick post. YAY!! I was given this lipstick by a friend Sylvia (thank you) and when I saw it in the tube I was intrigued. NYX Face Off: Soft Matte Lip Cream vs Butter Gloss

Want to know what I think is better from popular brand NYX? I am a huge fan of NYX. I love that whilst they have some dupes for higher end products they have a tonne of their own original products. The Soft Matte Lip Creams are an almost moussey feeling lip cream. I mean they don't call it a cream for nothing. I would highly recommend using a lip balm previous to applying this product. It dries matte so if there are any dry patches, it will sink into them. Whilst on the lips I would let it dry and apply as many coats as you like. I would typically use two. Whilst the colour is a vibrant hot pink (Addis Ababa) it can be sheered out to your preference. I find that these stay on the lips for up to four hours. Collection Does It All 5in1 Mascara

Hey. Well the other week I saw Shaaanxo instagram a picture of her lashes using a Collection mascara. I thought wow that's pretty impressive for a product under £5. This mascara claims to curl, volumise, lengthen, condition and that it's long wearing. I can tell you now this is all true. I have been testing this for about a month now and it is seriously impressive.  I am terribly fussy with mascaras. I don't tend to like the massive wands with tonnes of bristles sticking every which way. It was very surprising to me that I love this mascara. The wand is very comparable to Maybelline 'The Rocket' and Benefit 'They're Real'. When I tried Maybelline's 'The Rocket' I was constantly poking myself in the eye or mascara would go all over my eye lid. I didn't find that it did a whole lot for my eyelashes.
