Hothair Uplift Hair Piece*

Who doesn't love some extra volume and lift to their hair?

Michelle from Thou Shall Not Covet had a tweet looking for folks to review some pieces for Hot Hair. I jumped at the chance to be considered.

I chose a long piece as my hair is growing nicely after having a much needed chop and I thought medium was too short. I had every intention of colouring my hair dark but with work and being busy in general it has yet to happen.

What Hothair say 'The Uplift : Long is a clever piece that clips onto your crown to give you extra volume for a dramatic effect. Its secret? Hidden wires that you push up to create extra lift for 60's vava voom or a fabulous extra voluminous look.

Just clip in the pieces in the front and the back of the hair piece to secure and voila, an easy instant volume effect without the need of teasing your hair! Perfect for doing updo's and beehives!'

As you can see the hair is very long, shiny and almost black. Just gorgeous. You can see it has three clips at the top and one at the bottom. It also is synthetic hair and has hidden wiring for extra oomph.

I forgot to take a picture of me with my hair up but will post one on my Instagram asap. Now I have been using this as a normal extenstion piece and not a lifting piece, just to see could it be done and I think it can.

In the picture the darker part of my hair is the extension and I did cut them a small bit after this picture. I LOVE THEM. I quite like the black in with my lighter brown, looks kinda funky. I already have my eyes on more extensions from this brand. Whilst I didn't straighten this piece, I want to get some I can use hot tools on in future. When in my hair or attached to my head, should I say, it did not irritate me. In the past I have used extensions where they have hurt my scalp or even weighed me down. This was not the case, thank God.

I cannot recommend this brand enough. The shipping was insanely quick and Michelle helped me no end with deciding on colouring etc. Thank you :D The piece retails for £49 but at the moment is £39.20 on the website. Go have a peep folks.

Have you tried anything from Hothair? Let me know .
