MUA Shimmer Highlighter | JanBlog #14

Hey all,

Hope you're all having a lovely day so far. Today I have a post about the highly coveted high street highlighter by MUA. This product is very hard to find and is nearly always out of stock. I was in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol over the weekend and of course had to pop into Superdrug and there it was. I swear it was staring at me and I had to buy it hehe.


I have heard so much about this product. Whilst I don't love every product from MUA, I will admit to loving some of their single eyeshadows, lip liners and now this bad boy.


As you can see above it is a gorgeous 3D effect baked highlighter. This pink based highlight has a twinge of cream in it and is quite metallic looking. It most definitely has a blue sheen off it.


I really like the packaging, it's very pretty to look at. I definitely think the hype with this product is worth it. There are very few highlighters on the High Street at this price point, that are really good. Go MUA!



Would I recommend this? Absolutely. It's pigmented, not too obvious and long lasting. I really like it. Buy it here.

Want to know what I think is better from popular brand NYX? I am a huge fan of NYX. I love that whilst they have some dupes for higher end products they have a tonne of their own original products. The Soft Matte Lip Creams are an almost moussey feeling lip cream. I mean they don't call it a cream for nothing. I would highly recommend using a lip balm previous to applying this product. It dries matte so if there are any dry patches, it will sink into them. Whilst on the lips I would let it dry and apply as many coats as you like. I would typically use two. Whilst the colour is a vibrant hot pink (Addis Ababa) it can be sheered out to your preference. I find that these stay on the lips for up to four hours. My Acne Story | LUSH Grease Lightning

Hello loves,  Well I have a different kind of post today. It is about my acne and a product I tested to try help it out.  I mentioned this in my Top 5 LUSH products post just this week. It is one of a kind. I am about to share some rather honest pictures so look away if you're easily offended.  My skin is oily in the t-zone area and can be dry elsewhere. It is also quite sensitive and I have redness on my jawline that can sometimes be quite visible. Benefit 'Stay Don't Stray' Review

Good Afternoon, Well it has been a minute since I done a review here. I will explain in a post next week where I have been and all that. So, I have always been a huge fan of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. It is my absolute favourite eyelid primer.
