Review: Soap & Glory 'Kick Ass Concealer' | JanBlog #27

Well hey there,

Today I want to talk you through a new wonder product for me. I have dark circles under my eyes and nothing works :( So I thought I would try this concealer duo before I tried an expensive brand.


I saw this in Boots for £10 and thought why not!??! Haha.



I was so excited at the dark circles claim haha. I'm only 30 but because I have late nights with my other love, wrestling, I have some trouble hiding my tired eyes.



I have no clue as to why I have never bought this before. As well as the concealers you get a setting powder for them. I mean genius. It's all very cute and compact at the same time. The powder is very finely milled and not heavy at all.


I have used the pinker side for my under eye region with the powder on top and definitely saw a difference. The more skin colour side is great for my neck as I have had a breakout there or on my redness on my cheek area. Just a smooth, light product.

I didn't notice any caking under my eye area and it stayed put all day. Will it solve my issue? No but it helps for the moment. I do need to get appropriate eye creams.

I would recommend this to you all. It is £10 in Boots. At the moment Soap & Glory are on offer too. Woohoo.

Hey loves, Hope you are all well? Today I have a lipstick post. YAY!! I was given this lipstick by a friend Sylvia (thank you) and when I saw it in the tube I was intrigued. NYX Face Off: Soft Matte Lip Cream vs Butter Gloss

Want to know what I think is better from popular brand NYX? I am a huge fan of NYX. I love that whilst they have some dupes for higher end products they have a tonne of their own original products. The Soft Matte Lip Creams are an almost moussey feeling lip cream. I mean they don't call it a cream for nothing. I would highly recommend using a lip balm previous to applying this product. It dries matte so if there are any dry patches, it will sink into them. Whilst on the lips I would let it dry and apply as many coats as you like. I would typically use two. Whilst the colour is a vibrant hot pink (Addis Ababa) it can be sheered out to your preference. I find that these stay on the lips for up to four hours. Collection Does It All 5in1 Mascara

Hey. Well the other week I saw Shaaanxo instagram a picture of her lashes using a Collection mascara. I thought wow that's pretty impressive for a product under £5. This mascara claims to curl, volumise, lengthen, condition and that it's long wearing. I can tell you now this is all true. I have been testing this for about a month now and it is seriously impressive.  I am terribly fussy with mascaras. I don't tend to like the massive wands with tonnes of bristles sticking every which way. It was very surprising to me that I love this mascara. The wand is very comparable to Maybelline 'The Rocket' and Benefit 'They're Real'. When I tried Maybelline's 'The Rocket' I was constantly poking myself in the eye or mascara would go all over my eye lid. I didn't find that it did a whole lot for my eyelashes.
